Small drones are the access problem

Cheap, numerous, adaptable

Commercial and modified small UAS are inexpensive enough to be used in numbers and iterate faster than the systems built to stop them. Detection has to keep pace with airframes that change every few months.

Active sensors give you away

Radar and RF jammers announce their own position. In a contested environment, the system protecting an asset can become the reason the asset is found.

Detection is the hard part

Defeat systems are only as good as the cue that triggers them. Most sites have no reliable, persistent picture of what is in their airspace.

Standalone deployment

Deployed on its own. No vehicle, no host platform, no infrastructure dependency.

Integrated deployment

The same capability as a sensing module inside a larger mission system.

  • Mounts to a tactical ground platform as part of a qualified mission kit

Passive collection

Nodes detect airborne systems from the signals and signatures those systems naturally produce. The sensor emits nothing.

On-board processing

Detection, tracking, and classification run at the edge. No cloud, no reachback, no dependency on a network that may not exist.

Multiple nodes network together to build a shared local air picture across an area of interest.

Cue and hand off

Output feeds existing command systems and cues other parties' defeat systems. This is a sensing capability designed to integrate, not to replace what you already run.

Why passive matters

A sensor that emits can be detected, located, and targeted. A passive sensor adds nothing to the spectrum, requires no transmit authorization, and does not interfere with friendly systems operating nearby.
